Town squares are more than just open spaces, they’re almost always intimately connected to the history of community, commerce and communication of the town.

In the past, you might have found a gallows or pillory in many market squares. Today you’re more likely to see farmer’s markets, local concerts or visiting tourists.

Remote means you get themes, prompts and exercises into your inbox on the first Wednesday of the month, group reviews on the last Wednesday of the month, giving time in between to shoot on your own schedule.

In person means you get to shoot side by side with other photographers in a new Prague location every month guided by theme and prompts followed by a group review on the last Wednesday of the month.

3 hour group walk on the second or third Saturday of the month, morning or evening depending on the theme.
Receive the PDF guide with prompts and exercises into your inbox on the first Wednesday of the month.
Review sessions are held on the last Wednesday of the month 18:30 CET (Prague, CZ) on Google Meet.
Billed (CZK) every 3 or 6 months based on your chosen payment schedule until you cancel it.

on technical note

It’s fine to use an analogue camera, digital camera, camera phone…Whatever is comfortable and available. If you’d like to explore through short videos, go for it!

on cultural note

No cookie-cutter approach here. You are encouraged to create in response to the themes and prompts while having your own vision. Use the exercises as inspiration, don’t feel restricted by them.

on community note

The value of an online group review is in sharing and seeing each other’s work as well as being able to ask for feedback and advice.
